How do you communicate on a daily basis, for your small business? Mostly email? Maybe some WhatsApp?
It’s easy when you work by yourself from home to get into the habit of doing everything by email and app. It’s quick and does the job. Until that is, something comes up that requires a bit more. Perhaps it’s about a fee, or a question with a lengthier answer, or a query that’s ambiguous.
You sit and write, delete, and re-write and then, you’re stuck unable to find the right words.
Whenever I find myself devoid of written words, I pick up the phone. Nothing beats a chat and after all it’s how I communicate best. It’s always good for building relationships to have a natter with voiceover clients every now and then, and it eliminates any waiting around for an email answer. Instant clarity!
